Blaine Hamilton, Attorney

diplomasSince 2004, Blaine has been in solo practice, operating primarily in Bardstown, Kentucky, and the surrounding counties helping individuals when up against big corporations, insurance companies, and governmental prosecution by practicing primarily in the areas of plaintiff’s personal injury, criminal defense, DUI defense, divorce, child custody and support, as well as wills and probate.

Blaine grew up in the Bardstown, Kentucky, community.  After graduating from Bethlehem High School in Bardstown, Kentucky in 1991, he attended the University of Kentucky, majoring in Psychology, and graduated in May, 1995. Blaine then went on to the Salmon P. Chase College of Law and graduated in the Class of 1999. After law school, Blaine went to work for the Kentucky Court of Appeals as a staff attorney for the Hon. Judge David C. Buckingham in Murray, Kentucky, until August 2000. In the Summer of 2000, Blaine began his practice of law as an associate in Northern Kentucky, practicing in the areas of plaintiff’s civil litigation, personal injury, medical malpractice, workers’ compensation, domestic relations, and criminal law. In 2003, Blaine moved back to his hometown of Bardstown, Kentucky, and began working as an Assistant in the Nelson County Commonwealth Attorney’s Office as a prosecutor of felonies and serious crimes.

Blaine is admitted to practice law in all circuits of the Kentucky courts as well as the Kentucky Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Kentucky, and the Federal District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Kentucky.

Blaine is also a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, the Nelson County Bar Association, the Kentucky Justice Association, and a founding member of the American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys in Kentucky.

Blaine is a long time member of the Bardstown and Nelson County Community and a member of St. Joseph Parish.
